QB Analyzer reads Patten Studio's own accounting records from QuickBooks Online so the studio can analyze them, report on them, and keep an archive. It is operated by Patten Studio staff, for Patten Studio records only.
Who uses it
Employees and contractors of Patten Studio who are authorized to handle the studio's financial records. The tool is not distributed, sold, or made available to anyone outside the studio, and it has no public sign-up.
What it does
- Reads the studio's own QuickBooks Online company data through the Intuit API.
- Produces internal reports and analysis of the studio's financial records.
- Writes a local archive of that data for record-keeping.
What it doesn't do
It does not modify QuickBooks data, connect to any customer's books, transmit records to third parties, or serve advertising. Access is read-only on the QuickBooks side.
